The twentieth edition of Mulla Hindu Law incorporates several
important pronouncements rendered by the courts, in the fi eld of
personal law since the last edition.
It explains and comments upon the fundamental changes made in
the Hindu Succession Act 1956, by its amendment in 2005 as they
bring about a radical change in the law of succession applicable to
Hindus. Further, the case law pertaining to all relevant enactments
has been brought up to date as on December 2006.
